:
A
six-year-old boy saved his young brother from a holiday pool only two
weeks after learning to swim
James McEvoy leapt into their Majorca hotel's pool when Jacques, four,
slipped into the deep end.
Non-swimmer Jacques started to sink in 6ft of water, but James grabbed
a lifebelt, jumped in and secured the belt around them both.
Their mother Suzanne saw the drama from her balcony, The Sun reports.
By the time she had raced downstairs, James had secured the lifebelt.
Suzanne, 36, of Sunderland, then pulled her boys to safety.
She said: "James is our little hero. He was fantastic."
The rescue happened as the two boys walked to a children's play area
at the Hotel Delfin Verde in Alcudia.
