is Michael P. Northey’s most recent theatrical creation. It is
the story of two inept thugs--with guns in their hands and garlic on
their breath—who burst in on a Fringe Festival play, taking it
and the audience hostage. As a story inside a story unfolds, the two
bumbling idiots blunder their way through the hostage ordeal while their
personal agenda is disclosed in hilarious fashion. Michael P. Northey’s
acerbic wit takes full form in "This Fringe Venue Is Now Being
Held Hostage" as an unpredictable journey into the electric-shock
comedy that the Young Offenders have become known for.
