Recover Woman's Engagement Ring From Bottom of Deep Harbour
IRELAND --
Two Irish divers
have recovered a woman's engagement ring from the bottom of one of the
country's deepest harbours.
Kelly Proctor from
Letterkenny, Co Donegal dropped her platinum and diamond ring into the
water off Rathmullan pier on Lough Swilly.
Two divers from
the Marine Harvest Dive Unit spent 90 minutes recovering the ring.
Divers David McGloin
and Declan Tinney said visibility was a serious problem.
"It was like
looking for a needle in 10 haystacks", Mr McGloin said.
Miss Proctor is
due to be married on December 29, the Irish Independent reports.
