The Royal Mail is to issue Britain's first "scratch and sniff"
stamp - smelling of eucalyptus.
It's part of a set of six stamps to be issued this Autumn to commemorate
a century of Nobel prizes.
The stamps contain ink with thousands of tiny gelatine microcapsules
filled with scented liquid released when the stamp is scratched.
Eucalyptus, a plant known for its healing qualities, represents the
medicine category.
The Swiss post office produced a chocolate-scented stamp in May last
year, around a month before Norfolk Island - which lies between New
Zealand and Australia - made a set smelling of perfume, reports the
Sunday Telegraph.
The Norwegian post office started selling rose-scented stamps in June.
