Man Dials Wrong Number & Lands Job With President
COMO - An
unemployed Italian builder who dialled the wrong number as he tried
to get a temporary job has been given a full-time post by the politician
he spoke to.
The builder, who
has not been named, dialled the direct number of President of the Province
of Como, Armando Selva, instead of a construction company.
The two men ended
up chatting for half an hour and the unnamed jobseeker explained his
fruitless search for work. Eventually, Mr Selva found him a job.
The 40-year-old
has now moved from Andria in southern Italy to Como in the north and
taken up a permanent job with the local council, reports Il Resto del
Carlino newspaper.
