Men Pull 16 Ton Truck 3.4 Miles for New York Survivors
KENOSHA --
A group of 22 men in Wisconsin have pulled a 16-tonne
lorry 3.4 miles in an hour.
The men from Kenosha broke last year's record of 3.3 miles. They also
raised £3,300 for charity.
The cash will go to disaster relief efforts in New York and Washington,
and to children's cancer charities.
Team member Hugh Perone says: "This is not just about our ego.
We want to help someone else out."
The men are aged between their late 20s and their early 50s. Their
average weight is more than 17 stones.
