| A German man is donating
his entire lottery win to dancers who performed at his wedding.
The 40-year-old businessman won the money with
a ticket which he received as a present.
He is giving away one million marks, the equivalent
of around £314,000, because he says he's already been
lucky in life.
The dance company that performed at Andreas
Schmitz's wedding has since been disbanded, reports the Express
paper.
The money will be used to help re-establish
a resident company in Cologne.
Mr Schmitz said he felt his new fortune came
with an obligation.
"After all, I didn't even buy the ticket,
it was a gift," he said. "I didn't have the million
before, so I'm not going to miss it. If I win again, I'll donate
that money too."
