A German artist has covered a former post office
in 150,000 love letters.
H A Schult says his project in Berlin is a tribute
to modern German romanticism.
He appealed for people to send him spare love
letters and says he was overwhelmed by the response.
The donations included letters to parents, children,
lovers and even pets.
The outside of the building is covered with
35,000 and the inside with 115,000, reports the Daily Telegraph.
Mr Schult said: "I didn't know what to
expect. I just knew Germans were romantic and thought they would
respond."
One of the letters reads: "You're eyes
sparkle like the night sky. When you look at me my body comes
alive."
Another says: "I can't live without you.
The loss feels deeper by the day. It is a pity you're a cat."
