A New Zealand man has spent the last 99 years celebrating his birthday
on the wrong date.
Jack Rogers found out about the mistake just in time for his 100th
birthday.
His daughter noticed the error after digging out his birth certificate
for a special centenary party.
He thought his birthday was on December 23, but his birth certificate
revealed it is a day earlier.
Mr Rogers, of Stratford, told the Daily News: "My parents
always celebrated it on the 23rd. I'm blowed if I know why."
This year he will be having two birthdays, to mark both dates.
