Robin Williams Fends off Fan With Powder Puff

Robin Williams has defended himself against an overzealous fan with a powder puff.

The woman accosted the comic in a Beverly Hills shop, excitedly shouting his name and running towards him.

But quick-witted Williams, a veteran of the improvised comedy circuit, pretended to be a shop assistant.

According to imdb.com, he dusted the fan's cheeks until she looked like "a powdered doughnut" before moving on to peach and banana-coloured make-up.

Williams joked: "When we've finished with your face, we can make a fruit shake!" before making his exit.
