51 Year Old Canadian Man Plans 7 Year Cycle Around the World with Free Accomodation

CHILE -- A Canadian man is aiming to travel the world on his bicycle without spending any money on accommodation.

The 51-year-old has so far been travelling for 18 months and has reached Chile.

When he finds somewhere he wants to spend the night, he knocks on doors until someone lets him in.

Once he has crossed the Americas, Mr Ouellet plans to continue his journey through Africa, Europe and Asia before returning to Canada in about seven years time.

The only country he has missed out so far was Colombia.
