Climber rescued after getting lost in Lake District

A walker who lost his way in the Lake District has been found by mountain rescue teams.

He was taken off the mountain by helicopter and flown to Borrowdale.

The 22-year-old set off from Borrowdale yesterday morning, heading for Scafell.

His family, from Northumberland, contacted police when he failed to get in touch after nightfall.
