SOUND THERAPY
FOR THE WALKMAN
by
Canadian author Patricia Joudry ~ a gripping story of her own experience
with a revolutionary new discovery in sound.
|
The
therapy employs music in a listening system based on new knowledge
about the effect of sound upon the brain. Most of the sounds heard
in the world today are 'dis-charging' sounds, draining the brain
of vital energy.

About
Sound Therapy:
Sound Therapy is
complex in principle, entirely simple in practice. It consists of listening
to the therapy cassettes through headphones, on quality equipment, for
three hours a day to a total of 100 to 200 hours. The length of time
varies with individuals. Later the hours may be reduced at will.
The therapy was
formerly restricted to the few, being costly and time consuming, requiring
that the subject spend three hours a day in the therapist's listening
room. Now, with the mobility and high frequency afforded by the Sony
Walkman, Sound Therapy is made available to a larger public, at moderate
cost and with no investment in time. The music is pleasant to hear,
but need not be listened to consciously, and the person can therefore
engage in all usual activities while absorbing the healing sound at
low volume. Rather than taking time it adds time to the day as a result
of the new, shortened, concentrated sleep, and ultimately it is believed
will add years to the life.
The listening system
is entirely safe and has been thoroughly tested. It cannot do harm,
and does not constitute an artificial stimulant of the brain. By developing
the ear's receptivity it releases the person's own natural energy which
has been trapped, usually for the greater part of the lifetime.
