Doug Lucas emanates vitality and charisma. Ansun productions Inc. was conceived in 1997 as a product of Doug’s years of experience, expertise and awards in video production and on-screen appearances.

Ansun Productions Inc. is a leader in corporate video production. They are dedicated to presenting a company’s product or service, not just the fancy effects. Content is their major concern. Ansun Productions Inc. promises and ensures content will be the main focus of a company’s presentation. Doug has developed a proven three-step strategy process that guides his clients down the most productive path for success in presenting their product and or service.

Doug spent his first 7 years in Vancouver B.C. as a producer/host for a number of programs for the Rogers Community Network. During this time Doug won 9 International Video Awards for production and was presented with a special "Community Service Award" for the program "Front Row Centre" by the Community Theatre Coalition". Doug has had the pleasure of interviewing entertainment legends such as Luciano Pavarotti, Nana Mouskouri, Leslie Nielson and numerous other personalities from every walk of life. He has also appeared on the hit TV series "The X Files".

Deborah Vinsel, Best of the Northwest Committee comments on one of Doug’s numerous awards, "The 1995 Best of the Northwest received over 240 entries, making this the most successful festival we’ve had to date. Your award puts you in a select group of outstanding community media producers from the Alliance Northwest Region."

Doug is committed to serving his community through his work and passion. The Vancouver Outreach Community Soul Gospel Choir is a highly acclaimed local choir. As an independent producer and distributor, Ansun Productions Inc. produced an exciting CD and Video of the V.O.C. Soul Gospel Choir as directed by their renowned leader Checo Tohomaso. Ansun Productions Inc. is a company who promotes social responsibility, advocates community involvement, promotes ethical business and dares to care about people, not just their clients.

Currently Doug is raising funds for two projects aimed at helping youth. The first is a documentary entitled, “BC in BC” (Black Contributions In British Columbia). This riveting documentary demonstrates and explores the role black people played in historical British Columbia. Doug states, “The purpose is to give youth, black in particular, something to dig into in their own culture rather than solely turning to American Black History.”

Doug is partnering with local celebrity and football talent Ty Crews for his second project. “Who’s Minding The Kids?” is a compelling documentary on violence and how to avoid it. A Grey Cup winner in the 80’s, and a member in the BC Sports Hall of Fame, Ty currently works with troubled youth. His vision with both of these projects is to put a team of people together to travel around the province to present and discuss the material. He exclaimed, “This work is a very rewarding experience!’
