Why? To inspire people to perform Random Acts of Kindness
This summer,
our Kindness Crew (Chris Bratseth, Erik Hanson, Brad Stokes-Bennett
and Val Litwin) will spend just under three months frantically
racing all over Canada committing spontaneous and OUTRAGEOUS
acts of charity. Our mission is to raise awareness of the power
people have within themselves to enrich their lives and uplift
their communities through simple, spontaneous acts of kindness.
With acts that range from the mundane to the magnificent, we
will endeavor to prove that helping can be hilarious, and that
simple Random Acts of Kindness can change the lives of millions.
Join us
everyday on the web and follow our guerilla goodwill filming
tour @ http://www.extremekindness.com . Catch all of the intimate
moments, all the laughs and obstacles as we commit our impulsive
Kind Acts. Witness and take part in the first charity marathon
across the continent. We could show up on your doorstep in Ontario
to cook you dinner and teach you some Yoga; it could mean back-breaking
labour on the Prairies, or scooping ice cream for construction
workers in Calgary; even spur of the moment massages in the
subways of Montreal or surprise street hockey games in Winnipeg-
it will mean connecting with thousands of people face to face,
learning their stories and sending them off with a smile and
a new outlook on life.
In each
major community we visit we will be staging an Extreme Kindness
Marathon and from Dawn till Dusk we will be performing Random
Acts of Kindness. We encourage everyone to come out and bring
their own bizarre breed of kindness to the streets. Details
of these marathons will arrive in your mailbox shortly!
