Are the Whales Calling you?
You will be immersed in the energy of Joy, Excitement and Awe as the Gray Whales share with us their own excitement of people watching, as we watch them. It is a magical and exciting experience for both the people and the whales as our two species connect in love and trust and play.
Experience a sound healing as the powerful exhales of the whales surround us, unifying and creating a powerful healing vortex — a portal that opens, awakens, and activates our hearts with a deep remembrance of being one with all.
Our hearts are filled with love and gratitude as the mother Gray Whale trust, honors and blesses us by bringing her young calf to the boat to be with us and to introduce her baby to the human’s gentle, loving touches and tender kisses.
Join Internationally Acclaimed Animal Communicator, Linda Johns, and Whale Wisdom Expert and Dolphin Energy Healer, Anne Gordon de Barrigón, for this life changing experience. Linda and Anne will help you to open and connect on a deep spiritual level through guided meditations and communications to receive the gifts of wisdom, love, alignment and forgiveness from the Gray Whales of San Ignacio Lagoon.

I was an empath as a child so had many connected sensations with animals and nature when I was young. But this one event really stands out. When I was about 13 years old, I was awakened from sleep early one morning by a voice that said, “Don’t go to school today. Tell your mom you’re sick”. Since I never really enjoyed school, I didn’t think twice about telling my mom I was sick, even though I wasn’t. She said “stay home”, which was so unusual for her. She would normally say “get up and eat and see how you feel then”. I would usually catch a ride with my older brother who drove his car to school, but I stayed home on that Michigan wintry, snowy day, while he left. About 30 minutes later, my mom received a phone call from the State Police that my brother was in a terrible car accident. He was trying to pass a school bus when his car slid out of control on the snowy road and another car slammed into the passenger side of his car. The passenger side was smashed like a accordion into the driver’s side, breaking my brother’s ribs and puncturing his lung. Luckily he survived the crash and was hospitalized and recovered. If I had gone to school that day I would have been killed in the crash. I can now look at that and see that this is how free will works. I was given guidance, and it was my free will to follow it or not, and my brother’s free will was choosing to pass the bus or not. His ego probably wanted to look cool to the kids riding the bus and that was what made him decide to pass, even though his higher self was telling him to be patient. I feel the universe is always in motion and there are many paths of possibilities before us and at every moment the choice we make sets us on a particular path or experience.
In my personal life I can look back with great gratitude for the many teachers that have touched and supported my life and growth. The first being my 4th grade teacher Mrs Singleton. She opened me to a larger world and an awareness of giving, receiving and being of service. She left teaching after that year and we became pen pals and she shared her journeys around the world with me. Another favorite is Mary Ellen, a medicine woman I have been blessed to have in my life for the past 20+ years. She helped me to develop an energy foundation and showed me how to work with my abilities. She taught me to be in control on the energy, instead of it controlling me. Mary Ellen saw my potential even when I could not see it for myself, always guiding me to step into myself, and for that I am so grateful. There have been many others along the way, proving the saying that “when the student is ready, the teacher appears”
I once attended a workshop titled “Alien Connections”. I was very curious and the intention of the class was to go back and witness the very first time in this life that you had contact or connection with other species. It was done using hypnosis and when prompted to notice the first contact, I saw myself about 2 or 3 years old. I was walking with a very tall, beautiful blue-white being, holding onto a finger as we walked through a large ship. I was taken to a room that had a lot of little creatures that looked like animals, but not like our dogs and cats. We played together. Maybe this is where I learned to communicate with animals. Then the hypnotist instructed us to witness coming back into our own home. To my surprise, I witnessed them bringing me back into my room and I was pleading with the beautiful being not to leave me here. “I want to stay with you, don’t leave me here. These people are crazy.” I laugh about that every time i think about how crazy this world is.
On Fridays I get to play in childlike wonder and innocence with Brooke, my 3 year old granddaughter. I love being in the imagination and the creative right brain expansion. If we all had the opportunity to just be in curious childlike wonder and look at the world as if everything is new and exciting we would be able to change many limiting perceptions and beliefs.
I think that love is everyone’s true life purpose and our destiny is how we choose to play that out. I share that purpose through teaching and healing work, as I love to create a neutral, safe and sacred space for each one to heal by remembering their own true essence and life calling, one animal, one person, one thought at a time.
I am blessed to share my desert ranch home with dogs, cats, horses, a burro, chicken, koi fish, and white doves, not to mention all the wildlife that comes to visit, so it is impossible for me to have a favorite. When I’m not at my home the whales and dolphins are at the top of the favorite list.
Every morning I start with P. G. A., which is a prayer of intention, grounding and activating my chakras and balancing my energy field, followed by the 17 breath Merkaba meditation.
I also enjoy doing journey work with my totems and guides for healing, insight and direction.
If I find my mind is too active and running away with me, or if I’m feeling stressed during the day, I drop my mind’s awareness inward to a golden ball of light at the base of the spine. Then I expand my auric field out from there and breathe in from the morphogenetic field what I would like to feel instead, like harmony, joy or peace, for about three breath cycles or as long as my time allows. Then I go on with my day until I need to drop into myself again. This is a great exercise to train the body, spirit and mind to work together in partnership.
I enjoy all music, and I usually play soft, new age, zen, meditative music. But my most favorite music is listening to the sounds of the birds outside and following the conversation between them.
favorite is a hard word, and a bit limiting, because when it comes to food it depends on the day, the season, or the mood. This week I have been into kitchari and steamed greens and lots of herb teas.
Nature and being out in it. This is probably true for everyone, but when I am in nature my auric field expands and I connect with the Divine Spirit and the life force that is flowing through everything.
I would love to share the healing retreats with the whales and dolphins that I offer and my upcoming classes. My Awaken the Intuitive Energy and Animal Communication classes will be offered by teleconference or Zoom conferencing. I will be launching my new Website within the week so Check out www.journeytohealing.com for dates, times and more information.
