I began my career as an environmental engineer. But I transitioned quickly to nonprofit leadership on issues near to my heart in environment and education. After 15 years in corporate and nonprofit careers, I chose to exit the workforce when I became a mother. While I continued to work as a passionate volunteer, partner, and mother – I also decided to go to psychic school to develop my intuition and spiritual freedom. These classes and professional certification with the Inner Connection Institute, created an opportunity for me to foster my psychic abilities and weave a life of contentment. I currently provide clairvoyant readings and energy healings through this business – A Light Insight, teach meditation at The Lotus Meditation Studio, encourage spiritual freedom as a licensed minister with the Church of Infinite Spirit, and find joy and love being a dedicated partner and mother. My days are filled with all aspects of personal growth – whether it is someone trying meditation for the first time, others seeking clarity about the choices and energy in their life, corporate clients seeking balance in their workplace, or my daughter trying to tie her shoe. Through all of these aspects of my life, I work to share my unique light so that those around me may shine brighter as well.
I am also a part of the Kensho Health Network where they are making it easier to access all kinds of holistic health resources. Check out my profile, leave a review, and take charge of your health.
What Ali’s clients are saying…
“Ali provided a group reading for a Bachelorette Party I has hosting. It was an amazing way to bring together the bride and the women close to her and have a moving and shared experience.” – Dawn
“Ali’s insightfulness allowed clarity in my personal and physical being during a transitional time in my life. Amongst the chaos occurring at the time, Ali showed me insight into myself that allowed me to move forward with more clarity and positive energy. I often return to our conversation for guidance. She taught me to move forward in my life only when it can best serve me and/or others in a nourishing way.” – Lisa

My childhood was completely ordinary; there is no story that when I was three my parents found me levitating above the bed or talking to ghosts. I went to school, I had friends (real ones), I loved science and math. Eventually, I got an engineering degree. Logic, science, and building tangible things, were all the very core of my being. Like many young people, I questioned the very existence of a God. And then my brother died from cancer. I believe his soul continues to live even though he isn’t in a body. So, I started reading and seeking anything spirituality based. I started meditating. I became a mother, and then I knew at the core of my being that there was more to the world than science, math, tidy answers, and concrete things. Synchronistically, just when my stay-at-home mom self needed an escape from full time neediness, a psychic school fell into my path. So I started taking classes at the Inner Connection Institute, where they believe anyone can learn to open the door to their clairvoyant abilities. So, I first went ‘beyond 3D’ when I was 37, sitting in a classroom with about 10 other people.
Oh so many answers, and possibilities! Lauren Skye and Margaret Johnson have been my teachers in all things clairvoyance. I love to read the books of Brene Brown, Eckhart Tolle, and Matt Kahn. I love to read about new ways of being.
My grandparents owned and operated a funeral home, and my cousins and I used to play hide and seek in the casket room.
I love nature. Whether a mountain hike, or tending my city garden, connecting with the non man made world is an essential part of my being. There is nothing better than listening to the sound of a bubbling brook as it passes by.
To share my light, to be a light, to access and share love from the all one consciousness
Elephants – they are such amazing, calm, and graceful animals. When I was a very young child, my uncle took me for a ride on an elephant and I fell in love.
I meditate daily. I make myself slow down, sit down, and notice what is going on in my body, my mind, and my spirit. Let’s say I notice that it is hard to sit still, my mind is all over the place, I’m a little jumpy. I remind myself that in this moment, I am just fine. Because I really am. So, especially when things are chaotic in the world around me, I find even more time to meditate to remind myself that I am not chaotic. It helps that I get to do work that I cherish and love, and take a break from all that chaos and just be with people.
I love music I can sing along to – and I’m (in)famous for singing the wrong lyrics!
Mashed potatoes. I know you’re probably thinking, ‘really? With all of the food options in the world – potatoes?’ But no, not just potatoes – mashed potatoes. Oh. so. good. They remind me of holidays and warmth.
I love connecting with spirit and divine to remind me of the excitement and synchronicities of life. I love planning classes, and giving readings because each one is different and I never know what I am going to say.
Meditation and spirituality get a tough rap for being serious and boring. I’m known for my ability to make this experience fun, even hilarious, definitely fascinating. I offer a free 15 minute reading to anyone considering giving it a try, just to make sure money isn’t the reason for your hesitation. I ask you to consider what you have to lose? Cynicism, sarcasm, or judgement? What do you have to gain? Insight, clarity, and light? And just to put you at ease a little more, if you have a deep, dark, secret – I won’t be able to see it. Your secret is yours to reveal, not mine to find. Take a step with me and make an appointment for an energy reading and clearing.
