Energy Healing Sessions:
Over a span of about 30 years, I have studied and practiced various approaches to healing — healing with Light, channeling, laying-on-of-hands (as taught by the late Joseph Martinez, San Francisco), and The Wonder Method. I am currently a member of Wellness on the Coast, alternative healers in the “Mendonoma” region and Gualala, CA, where I live.
My experience includes meditation, yoga, channeling, reading a wide range of spiritual and metaphysical books, and association with many kinds of energy healers and spiritualists.
I hold a B.A. in history (University of California, Los Angeles) and M.A. in Cultural Anthropology (University of California, Berkeley). As a PhD student in Cultural Anthropology, my focus was “comparative religion;” and my thesis, “Thai Buddhist Nuns.”
Professionally, I’ve been a teacher and writer and have also taken on many kinds of day jobs. I taught all levels of English-as-Second-Language in Berkeley and Oakland public schools, as well as privately, one-on-one, via my own English business in the San Francisco Bay Area. I’ve worked as a freelance editor and writer; and I have written and self-published three art-related books. For pleasure, I especially enjoy plein air and abstract painting.
Born in Chiang Mai, Thailand to American parents, I grew up going to Protestant and Baptist churches with my parents, and to Buddhist temples with my Thai nanny, giving me early exposure to the many ways people worship. Miraculous encounters with fortune tellers, spirit guides, and spiritual teachers have sprinkled my life, leading me always to the Light. For these experiences, I am humbly grateful.
