Each month, Glen Pankhurst joins News for the Soul to host The Aligned Path — a one-hour conversation about the beliefs, expectations, and emotional patterns that quietly shape how you experience life.

The core idea is simple. Many of the limits we live by are not fixed truths. They start as thoughts. Those thoughts gather momentum. 11 Things About Glen …

What was your first moment of ‘beyond 3D normal awakening’? Honestly, that knowing has been with me since childhood — a quiet sense that there’s more here than we can see, and a deep trust in how life unfolds. But the moment that changed everything was a profound union with my inner being. It’s still the most real, vivid, and beautiful experience I’ve ever had — and it shaped everything that came after.

2. Who is your favourite teacher, book, and movie? Teacher: Abraham Hicks — the work that shifted everything for me. Book: The Celestine Prophecy. I’ve never been a big reader, but that one stayed with me. Movies: Contact and Arrival. Both touch on something I can’t quite explain in words, which is probably why I love them.

3. What’s the strangest experience you’ve ever had? Strange and beautiful at the same time: coming into full union with my inner being. Words don’t quite cover it. It was vivid, real, and the closest thing I’ve ever known to coming home.

4. What’s one interesting thing we do not know about you yet? Emmeline Pankhurst — the leader of the British Suffragette movement — is my great-great-great-great-grandmother. A different kind of work to mine, but the same family thread: helping people move toward a freer, more aligned life.

5. What do you feel your true life purpose to be? To be genuinely happy, follow my passion, and along the way help other people find their way back to the same thing in themselves.

6. What’s your favourite animal? Cats — without question. My first cat, Sam, is the one who taught me what that bond actually feels like. Once you’ve had a cat like Sam, you don’t really go back.

7. What’s your favourite consciousness or energy ‘exercise’? Three I do without fail:

  • Mornings: before anything else, I meditate or watch and listen to something uplifting. It sets the tone for the whole day.

  • Evenings: I walk in nature. It lets the day go and brings me back to myself.

  • Sundays: a meditative sound bath to reset for the week ahead.

Simple — but they hold everything else in place.

8. What’s your favourite music / song / musical artist? Soulful house, all day. Right now, Tinlicker and Hero Baldwin — together and apart. There’s something about that sound that opens me up.

9. What’s your favourite food? If I had to choose: French and Korean. Opposite ends of the spectrum, both somehow do it for me.

10. What excites your creative juices? Alignment. Honestly, nothing else comes close. When I’m in real harmony with my inner being, life starts to flow — things come to me, synchronicities show up, ideas land, and it’s just fun. That’s the state I want to live in. And it’s the state I want to help other people find their way back to. The knowing that we genuinely can do, be, or have anything we focus on — that lights me up every single time.
