The ancient practice of energy work facilitates relaxation and healing on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels. I believe healing is inherent to human nature, and I feel that each level of the energy field is an integral facet of the supplementary levels. Health and well-being is attained when all the levels of the energy field are free from blocks and are re-balanced.

As an energy healer my objective is to minimize pain and suffering on all levels. I also feel it works well in conjunction with necessary conventional medical methods.

As a Certified Instructor for National Guild of Hypnotists my purpose is to uphold the standards and follow the curriculum approved by the National Guild of Hypnotists, Inc. Established 1950; to ensure the best education to become a NGH Hypnotist.

These guide-lines inspire integrity in future practitioners and teachers. I believe integrity is a prized possession, and I practice it both personally and professionally.

11 Things About Terry…

 

1. What was your first moment of ‘beyond 3d normal awakening’?

At the end of my twenties, I was living in Brooklyn, and my sister was pregnant with her daughter and her due date was near. I had a dream that she gave birth to the most beautiful baby girl. (At that point, she did not know she was having a girl.)  The next day (Sunday) I remembered the dream, and what my Italian grandmother would say “If you dream of a birth, there’s a death, or if you dream of a death, there’s a birth.”  Often this is an old Italian belief. It was around 11am, when I discounted this as an old wives’ tale, and proceeded with my day. At 3pm I received a phone call notifying me that my mother’s mother (Who I revered.) had a massive heart attack and passed that morning. This was a pivotal point in my life, where I truly began to see the messages from spirit, and it was the catalyst to what I call my spiritual journey that was an important part of my thirties.

 

2. Who is your favorite teacher, book, and movie?

I have been a lifelong student, and have had many great teachers in my life, but one teacher always stands out for me, Professor Emeritus Rubenstein. I attended Bernard M. Baruch College in Manhattan; in my opinion, they had remarkable professors representing the college, but I took several of his classes, because he stood out to me.

Professor Emeritus Rubenstein’s focus was East Asia, and at the time would spend six months a year in the region and authored books and numerous journal articles in this field. Professor Rubenstein was open minded and expansive in his thinking and brought a new perspective to my world. I appreciate his contributions to the students and to the world.

My favorite book and tv series was written by John Jakes, “North & South.”  A book about friends that graduated from West Point together, their lives, love, and the polarity of being divided and fighting against each other during the civil war.\

My favorite movie is “It’s a Wonderful Life.”  The profound message of how important each person is in your life, and how we strongly affect each other.

 

3. What’s the strangest experience you’ve ever had?

I had a metaphysical storefront on Long Island, and one of my regular clients had to go to his car to get his credit card. I was standing at the register and was waiting for him to come back, when I saw a teenager pass the storefront window and started to come into the store. He was tall and wearing a sweatshirt, around18yrs old, as soon as he walked into the store, I witnessed him completely shapeshift back into my 50-year-old client. Because I had a good rapport with my client, I asked him if he was working on releasing part of his past and he confirmed it. I called every spiritual person I worked with and asked if they had ever experienced something similar. The response was no, but there was an explanation of what was known as “flash time,” which means literally seeing a person, situation, or place in another time. Fascinating experience!

 

 

4. What’s one interesting thing we do not know about you yet?

I am a typical Gemini, I love to talk, socialize and my favorite pass time has always been to spend time with my lifelong friends. As my husband has often joked, “Wow your phone has not rung in two hours, Verizon’s stock must have gone down,” like I said I love to talk!

 

 

5. What do you feel your true-life purpose to be?

My purpose is to give service to others by helping to transform their current level of consciousness and ultimately empower themselves. I use my knowledge from different modalities to assist healing on the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels depending upon the client’s objective.

 

 

6. What’s your favorite animal?

I respect and love all types of animals and animal totems, but to narrow it down to one it would be a love for horses. Years back I used to take weekly horseback riding lessons, and enjoyed learning to ride, watching the horses and the interaction of all the people of different ages communing with horses.

 

 

7. What’s your favorite consciousness or energy ‘exercise’ that helps you stay connected, grounded and ‘tuned in’ in a good way?

Whether I start an intuitive session, or during meditation, “running my energy” allows me to get into the energy and altered state of consciousness, this is done by breathing exercises and visualization techniques that expands my energy upward and outward.

 

8. What’s your favorite music / song / musical artist?

I like different genres of music, but in the last 5 years I have really enjoyed Celtic music and attended a couple of concerts. One of them being the band The High Kings and my favorite song that they sing is Red is a Rose (Beautiful!)

 

 

9. What’s your favorite food?

I enjoy all types of ethnic foods, especially Italian, but I would say my favorite dish is linguine with clams, mussels, shrimp, calamari, and lobster… Yum.

 

10. What excites your creative juices?

Whatever current topic I become passionate about, for example in history, philosophy, or metaphysics, I completely throw myself into learning, research, and compiling information on the particular topic of interest and cultivate the understanding of it.

 

11. What’s the one thing you’d like to “shamelessly self-promote” here today?

I have an incredible capacity to listen deeply to a client, repeat it back to the person, and facilitate the person’s focus on the area that needs healing and provide support needed for transformation.
