A Message from News for the Soul Founder, Producer & Host Nicole Marie Whitney:
Did you know News for the Soul first began as a positive news newspaper in Vancouver BC Canada in January 1997?
As a journalist, it was very important to me to return to our ‘roots’ and re-incorporate ‘Positive News’ when we launched the new face of the News for the Soul website in November 2014. With the mainstream media still focusing on the worlds worst 10% of news 90% of the time 24 hours a day, I feel it’s important to focus on what’s good, what’s right and what’s possible for our world most of the time – not the other way around. As the late great Stuart Wilde would always remind me “we must remember to see the beauty”.
I invite you to share any positive news you know of or find from around our world here on News for the Soul with the following agreements:
The stories must indicate the SOURCE of the information and any appropriate links.
The stories must not be sales copy to promote your product or paid event.
The stories must serve to empower and enrich our world in a positive way.
So click on Submit News and lets spread some love around this place!
