Ryan Yamka is a certified professional animal scientist (PAS), board certified with the American College of Animal Sciences (Dipl. ACAS) in companion animal nutrition, a fellow of the American College of Nutrition (FACN) and, in 2011, received the ASAS Corbin Companion Animal Biology Award, 2019 the Pet Age ICON award and 2020 Rogue Pet Science Pet Industry Disruptor Award . He has published numerous manuscripts, abstracts and book chapters, and has 50+ patents granted. Lastly, he writes blogs for Petfood Industry Magazine debunking pet food myths and misconceptions, has been featured on numerous podcasts, expert panels and as a guest speaker at pet industry conferences. Yamka’s articles ranked in the Top 10 Most Read Pet Food Industry Articles for 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021. He currently is VP, Head of Research and Development for The Farmer’s Dog and serves as an advisory board member for Bond Pet Foods and as Senior Strategist - Animal Nutrition for Do Good Foods.

After suffering an injury that wouldn’t heal, Pam was led on a journey to seek out alternative, holistic and natural medicine back in 2005, and she’s been learning ever since. Now a passion that she loves to share with others and her my goal is to help people help themselves and their cats along their path to holistic health. She has taken courses in holistic health for animals, muscle testing, and animal communication.
