A “Deathwalker” or “Psychopomp” (from the Greek word psychopompos, literally meaning the “guide of souls”), is a magickal person who helps souls that are reluctant, stuck, or seem to be unable to move on from their death. Death Walkers assist those who have already left the physical body and need help completing their transition and returning to their spiritual home/ the afterlife. A Death Walker is one who meets with the departed soul in the otherworld and non-ordinary realms versus a Medium who will invite the departed soul to the ordinary realm and meet with them. A Death Walker is not necessarily a Death Doula, as the Death Walker exclusively works with those who are already dead.
