Dog Sings the Blues In Perfect Pitch

A video of a dog singing the blues in near perfect pitch to the accompaniment of its owner’s saxophone is proving a viral hit.

More than 100,000 people have watched the clip uploaded by YouTube user RighInTwo of his pet, Coyote, showing off his talent.

As his owner belts out his version of Basie’s Blues, the animal tilts his head back and tunefully howls along.

Apparently the pet is singing in B flat and one viewer who watched him says he also hits a D flat and D natural.

The crooning canine seems to be enjoying itself, tail wagging as it puts more passion into the performance than many professional singers.
