Video shows New Zealand Army help save stranded orca

Amazing footage shows soldiers from the New Zealand Army help refloat a stranded orca on Marfells Beach.

Soldiers, along with rescuers from charity Project Jonah and the Department of Conservation, staged a successful attempt to refloat the killer whale at high tide.

It’s reported the whale was able to swim away and rejoin its pod after it was moved to deeper water using a trench and pontoons
