- Color therapy
- It is known as chromatherapy and originated in China, India, and Egypt. Light is a form of energy since it has its own vibration. Color is a form of energy because every color is a form of light with a unique wavelength. Since every living being is made of energy and every color has its own energy, colors can be used to restore balance on a physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual level.
- Even though animals can’t see all of the same colors that we do, it is the energy (vibrational frequency) of the color, not the color itself, that aids in healing. Color affects every living being whether they see it or not.
- Towels, blankets, clothing, collar, bed, pillow
- Colors & uses
- Light Blue—calming in times of stress; visitors, travels, vet visits, car rides, new pets in the home; *Note about the Batman crew/fighting and aggression among the cats
- Green—grounding for pets that seem high strung or don’t like being still
- Light pink—separation anxiety *great for when you’ll be gone extended amounts of time, vacation
- Yellow—depression or illness; loss of owner or other family pet, surrendered to a shelter
- Red—stimulate appetite, courage (caution—not recommended for aggressive pets)
- Light purple—soothing and relaxing
- Flower Essences
- Liquid extracts made from flowers and garden blossoms used to address profound issues of emotional well-being, soul development, and mind- body health. They work on an energetic/vibrational level.
- They treat negative emotions which if left unresolved manifest into physical symptoms.
- How are they made? (from FESFlowers.com website)
- Be patient! Essences are gentle healers and can take up to 2 weeks or more to alter an animal’s negative emotions.
- Can be used as single essence or a custom blend of usually up to 5-7 essences; the essences are chosen by symptoms or emotions
- Dosing: Give 4 drops (or 2 sprays) four times a day until you notice a difference. Can be mixed in food, water, directly into the cat’s mouth, rubbed inside the ears, lips and nose. For emergencies you can give 4 drops every few minutes.

- Diffusing essential oils for a calming environment, happy space
- Always make sure your cat can leave the area if the scent becomes bothersome.
- I Energy work
- Set intention first
- You can give energy with hands slightly cupped, palms facing toward the cat. Imaging sending a wave of healing energy/light from your hands to the cat.
- Energy work can be given from a distance or close up. Animals are very sensitive to energy, so starting from a distance may be best. If the cat gets up and moves away from you the energy is too strong.
- Muscle Testing
- Taps into the body’s innate wisdom and can be used to determine exactly which modality/product/dosage/protocol your cat needs.
- Set your intention first.
