One of the greatest challenges on the path of spiritual awakening is letting go of the ego’s need for control. In this world, we are taught to believe we are the sole masters of our fate — that control brings results. Spirit has shown me again and again that true guidance comes not through control, but through surrender.

As I deepened my connection, I began to recognize the subtle presence and direction of Spirit more clearly. Trusting that guidance changed everything. It wasn’t my idea to become a teacher, to step onto the platform with trance demonstrations, or even to write a trilogy of books. Each of these unfolded because Spirit guided me to do so.

The same is true for this podcast. While I once thought I might share my own knowledge, Spirit asked me instead to step back, to make space for their voice. That is how Noah Speaks was born. Noah is the collective name given by a trio of Spirit guides who speak through me in the trance state. Their voice is not my own, but theirs — a stream of wisdom, compassion, and perspective that comes directly from the Spirit world.

It is a rare opportunity to listen, to ask, and to receive unfiltered guidance from beyond. My role is to provide the vessel, to hold the space so that Spirit’s words can be heard. My background as an energy healer includes decades of meditation and study of alternative and spiritual healing.  I am a certified Quantum-Touch practitioner and I also make use of several other kinds of healing modalities.   Over a span of about 30 years, I have studied and practiced various approaches to healing — healing with Light, channeling, laying-on-of-hands (as taught by the late Joseph Martinez, San Francisco), and The Wonder Method. I am currently a member of Wellness on the Coast, alternative healers in the “Mendonoma” region and Gualala, CA, where I live. My experience includes meditation, yoga, channeling, reading a wide range of spiritual and metaphysical books, and association with many kinds of energy healers and spiritualists.  I hold a B.A. in history (University of California, Los Angeles) and M.A. in Cultural Anthropology (University of California, Berkeley). As a PhD student in Cultural Anthropology, my focus was “comparative religion;” and my thesis, “Thai Buddhist Nuns.”.

Let’s work together to regulate the nervous system and emotions using somatic & energetic practices plus neuroscience to get to the HEART of the matter! When I ran my first marathon, I was injured and unsure whether or not I was making the right decision to run the race anyway. I hadn’t been able to walk easily for nearly a month prior to the race because I injured my psoas muscle during a long run. Fear was telling me to hang back. But, I trained for months and I really wanted to see how much I could run. I decided to trust myself and allow the unknown to unfold. My marathon miracle was absolutely an example of how possible it is to heal your body. When the will is there, the body will align with all its systems on your behalf. While it wasn’t a record breaking finish, I ran the entire marathon and experienced total healing during the race. When it was over, I was walking normally and felt amazing!

After several major operations for Crohn’s disease I reluctantly took early retirement and then discovered a whole new experience when volunteering at a hostel for the homeless where I honed my listening skills as I discovered individuals’ life experiences and accounts of deep trauma.

At the same time I embarked on a life long study of esoteric teachings with The Arcane School and new spiritual concepts brought through by Alice Bailey when channeling Master Djwhal Khul greatly influenced a new direction for me.

I then qualified as a Reiki practitioner to give healing and then undertook training to become a NLP practitioner from Dr Richard Bandler giving me confidence to deliver healing through listening and talking.

More recently I qualified as a Metatron colour healing practitioner and enjoy bringing in the energy and vibrations of colour when working with clients.

I continue delivering healing harmony through my YouTube channel and through the short videos I try to put out most days to give reassurance and stability, advice and support to strengthen hearts when times are difficult as they certainly are becoming in this stage of humanity’s development.
