A lifelong artist and seeker of purpose and meaning, I came across Scientific Hand Analysis in 2009. This was a turning point in my life. What I discovered about myself from my hands explained pretty much everything in my life up to that point.
I was a photographer, chef, and a painter, among other things. While I was always doing something creative, I always felt like there was something else I was supposed to be doing. I was considering teaching art or becoming an art therapist and then got very interested in the idea of creativity coaching.
About the same time I was looking into creativity coaching is when I happened to discover that, according to my fingerprints, my life purpose is “Mentor to Artists”! That is- creativity in some form, plus teaching, basically. This was totally mind blowing to me, considering everything I had done so far was leading in that direction, but I didn’t totally trust it. (My life lesson explains that.) I was so fascinated by hand analysis and how this could be possible, I had to learn it! Fortunately, using hand analysis to help people understand themselves better is a great way to express my life purpose, the teacher/ mentor part anyway.
I became certified by the International Institute of Hand Analysis and also got certified in Expressive Art Therapy and Creatively Fit Coaching.
Learning to read hands taught me so much about myself and other people. I’ve come to understand that everyone is here (in this life) to learn specific things. We each have a unique design regarding how we see the world, what motivates us and what challenges us. We have a specific love language and way of thinking, and this can all be seen in the hands when you know how to read them. Our fingerprints are the only aspect of our hands that can’t change, and they contain our life purpose, as well as our life lesson.
I help people understand themselves from a more empowering perspective so they can create a life of purpose and meaning.

I came to this work through my own experience of abuse at an early age. The PTSD and hypersensitivity that developed to create safety in me also created a connection to the unseen world. This both terrified me and offered me unconditional love. It saved my Spirit, my fire and those places in my Soul that I felt sometimes I’d lost.
It is through these gifts that my work in healing began and expanded. My education in this work comes from my studies…but honestly, 75% of it comes from Spirit: It’s how I hear, see and follow the unseen. Because of the abuse, my psyche split and when that happened, I’d go off to play in the unseen realms. My spirit soared and I was loved and cared for while my body was experiencing something else. This is where my gifts grew and were nurtured, and where I came to trust implicitly in the Spirit World and the support and guidance it gives me. Spirit taught me how to trust myself and how to trust in what I see and hear that is mystical. It taught me how to come back to my own safety, and how to notice when soul truth and human expression are not in alignment. My goal is to get that alignment back for my clients. The “cause” was never determined. Following what she thought was an odd impulse, she stumbled upon a book in the library (today she recognizes this as Divine intervention!) that suggested she meditate, and so she began. A sense of relief and calmness set in slowly at first, and then fast and strong. She felt as though her life was simply falling into place. Within a year, she’d begun communicating with her spirit guides (yes, we ALL have them!) Her initial response was that of disbelief and denial, followed by a complete physical and mental evaluation revealing to her she was, quote, fine. Then, she really began to LISTEN. Not with her ears, but with her inner guidance, her whole self. This connection also introduced her to her Higher self, and her Divine path. By meditating, or ‘plugging-in’ to Source daily, she discovered the truth of “WHO AM I”, and the truth of who we ALL are. Thus, began her path to wellness. Worry and fear seemed to disappear overnight. For months she read all she could find about meditation and energy centers. She took classes and became a certified Reiki III Master. Her path to connecting with Source energy and learning to interpret vibrational information, felt to her, nothing short of miraculous. Now, she knows that this miracle, this connection, is available to every single one of us! Laura is a teacher, a coach, and a source of information for anyone searching for truth and happiness. She loves what she does, and believes this path will lead ANYONE to what they truly desire, which is HAPPINESS. A lifelong artist and seeker of purpose and meaning, I came across Scientific Hand Analysis in 2009. This was a turning point in my life. What I discovered about myself from my hands explained pretty much everything in my life up to that point.
I was a photographer, chef, and a painter, among other things. While I was always doing something creative, I always felt like there was something else I was supposed to be doing. I was considering teaching art or becoming an art therapist and then got very interested in the idea of creativity coaching.
About the same time I was looking into creativity coaching is when I happened to discover that, according to my fingerprints, my life purpose is “Mentor to Artists”! That is- creativity in some form, plus teaching, basically. This was totally mind blowing to me, considering everything I had done so far was leading in that direction, but I didn’t totally trust it. (My life lesson explains that.) I was so fascinated by hand analysis and how this could be possible, I had to learn it! Fortunately, using hand analysis to help people understand themselves better is a great way to express my life purpose, the teacher/ mentor part anyway.
I became certified by the International Institute of Hand Analysis and also got certified in Expressive Art Therapy and Creatively Fit Coaching.
Learning to read hands taught me so much about myself and other people. I’ve come to understand that everyone is here (in this life) to learn specific things. We each have a unique design regarding how we see the world, what motivates us and what challenges us. We have a specific love language and way of thinking, and this can all be seen in the hands when you know how to read them. Our fingerprints are the only aspect of our hands that can’t change, and they contain our life purpose, as well as our life lesson.
I help people understand themselves from a more empowering perspective so they can create a life of purpose and meaning.

We all experience numerous life challenges That is what led me onto this path of personal growth, and spiritual healing. As I expanded, Spirit guided me to learning a number of other healing techniques that enhance and build upon Reiki. Among them are: Shamanic practices, Psychic Surgery, Energetic DNA Restructuring, Spirit Crossings, Past Life Regression, Channeling, & Soul Retrieval. In 2009, my Reiki Master Teacher, Helen Kanaieson Rende, Ph.D. listened and knew that I was ready to begin my teaching. I also studied with several Reiki Masters and shamanic practitioners and gained a variety of perspectives along with the unique knowledge they each offered. My educational background on two different coasts opened me to so many life experiences that have contributed to a greater understanding of people, and the world we live in. My Bachelor of Science in Education is from Southern Connecticut State University and my Master’s Degree is from California State University, Fullerton. I lived and taught in California for over 30 years. In 2005, as a result of illness, I early retired from teaching and moved back to the East Coast to Sanbornton, NH.
